About Hawk EV

We believe that power should be available where and when you need it…

Having been an EV owner for some time, the founders of Hawk EV realised there are still many situations where an internal combustion engine is more practical, e.g. having travelled a long distance to attend an extreme event like a sporting event, festival or staying at a holiday home. Our aim is to tip the scales in the EV driver’s favour by having power available no matter where you are.

Chargers

Need for Chargers…

The number of EV cars on the road is growing year on year with 1.2 million fully EV registered as of July 2024. For anyone using them travelling to a remote event, such as a Tough Mudder, there are a few challenges:

  • Infrastructure doesn’t exist in remote locations
  • If charge runs low, EV owners cannot simply ‘top up’ (unlike an internal combustion engines with a petrol can)
  • Mobile range varies based on weather conditions (lower range in colder temperatures)
  • People struggle to navigate the difficulties of needing to charge their EV but not having a charger available.
